Huelife is a human capital consulting firm that specializes in design and facilitation of transformational change. Our mission is to ignite the passion in individuals and teams for learning, innovating and performing. We utilize organization development processes, community development philosophies and action learning to enhance the performance of individuals, teams, organizations and communities. We partner with individuals and organizations in the process of discovery, creation and development. Irina Fursman

Irina Fursman is Chief Facilitator and OD Practitioner at HUE.Life, an organization development and facilitation firm that focuses on human understanding and engagement as a core strategy for change. Her work includes a variety of strategic consulting services such as retreat planning and facilitation, strategic planning, and organizational or community engagement projects.

As a certified Technology of Participation (ToP) facilitator and trainer at Minnesota Technology of Participation (MNToP), and a licensed practitioner of the Insights® people development program, Irina has worked with national and international organizations to teach the art and science of facilitation, engagement and strategic thinking.

In addition, Irina is president of the non-profit Institute of Cultural affairs in Ukraine that provides experiential leadership development opportunities for current and future leaders. She also co-founded the non-profit Global Synergy Group to create leadership development and engagement opportunities for civic leaders around the world.

Irina holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and an M.S. in Mathematics and Computer Science. She is a Doctoral Candidate at the University of St. Thomas, pursuing her dissertation in Organization Development and Change Leadership.

Her creative presentation skills and extensive facilitation expertise provides a fun, engaging and motivating experience for participants to help foster more successful organizational change and performance.

Dr. Richard Fursman, Ed.D

Richard is an Organization Develop and Change expert for huelife. He has helped hundreds of organizations develop, and implement strategy by facilitating discussions and aligning strategy with action planning, hiring, and review. Richard has facilitated and advised on Strategic Thinking and Planning with National, Regional, and Local governments in the USA and Ukraine involving small, intimate groups and large-scale events involving hundreds of participants (PEACE Summit in Kiev). Richard has and continues to lecture on individual and whole-system change at a number of Universities and conferences in the USA and abroad. Richard has over 20 years of senior management experience in local government, and is currently volunteering with the Institute of Public Administration in Ukraine. Richard earned his Doctorate in Organization Development from the University of St. Thomas where he serves as an Adjunct Faculty member.

Jim Brimeyer

After twenty years in public sector management, Jim Brimeyer began his career in executive search in July, 1988. In January 1992 he established The Brimeyer Group, Inc., an executive search firm serving cities, counties, non-profit organizations, semi-public agencies and private sector companies.
Mr. Brimeyer has conducted over 500 executive searches with the company, establishing the firm as a premiere innovator in the business. He merged the company with Richard Fursman in 2007 (now called Brimeyer Fursman, Inc.) and continues to serve as a senior advisor.
Previously, Jim served four cities: three as a City Manager including his last position as City Manager of St. Louis Park, Minnesota (population 45,000).

Education

Jim has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Northern Illinois University.

Professional / Personal Activities

Jim is a member of the International City Management Association, the Minnesota City Management Association, and the Minnesota Municipal Utilities Association. He is active in the community serving the TwinWest Chamber of Commerce, is a past president of the St. Louis Park Rotary Club and the St. Louis Park Rotary Foundation. In December 2003 he completed eight years as City Council Member at-large in St. Louis Park, Minnesota. He currently serves as president of the St Louis Park Community Foundation and was appointed by Governor Dayton to the Metropolitan Council Commission in 2010.
